This large clear/white sea glass measures 2 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches. It is a genuine, authentic wave-tumbled piece of beach glass I found on one of our Virgin Islands beaches. For glass to become sea glass, it undergoes years of being broken and tumbled in the ocean to transform its sharp edges and shiny surface into a frosted and smooth finished piece. With the advent of the wide use of plastic bottles, jars, and other non-glass containers, sea glass is becoming increasingly harder to find. It is suitable for making a one-of-a kind large pendant for a casual elegant look or just as a collector's piece.
