This white/creamy white wire wrapped porcelain pendant is perfectly round measuring 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches. It is a genuine wave-tumbled piece I found on one of our Virgin Islands beaches. Seems like it may have broken off from the bottom of a cup or small vase. Beach pottery is similar to sea glass except it is from ceramic items. This rare find has undergone years of being broken and tumbled in the ocean, transforming it into a smooth finished piece. With the advent of the wide use of plastic bottles, jars, and other non-glass containers, sea glass/beach pottery is becoming increasingly harder to find.
The 28" long necklace from which it hangs features 8, 6, and 4mm crystal glass beads. It easily slips over your head. It is suitable for a casual elegant look and makes an excellent gift for your beach-loving family and friends.
